Several campuses under one organization
A Sangam, Koota, trust or diocese running schools in different locations is one relationship, not several separate ones. Network pricing is a single annual figure on a single invoice: one base fee for the organization, plus a rate for each campus.

From two campuses — if you run more than one location, this is your rate. Mixed networks are fine — a group with two one-day schools and one daily school pays the rate for each. One thing to know up front: each campus is a separate tenant with its own roster and settings, and a coordinator with access to several switches between them. A single dashboard spanning every campus is not in the product today — but it is exactly the kind of thing we build for a network that needs one. What network pricing assumes
- One invoice, one payer — the organization, not each campus separately.
- One named coordinator we work with across all campuses. Every campus still has its own admins; the support channel is shared.
- Onboarding we schedule together, rather than every campus going live the same weekend.
These are what make several campuses cheaper for us to run than the same number of unrelated schools — which is the whole reason the rate is lower.
Parents never pay
Families are not the customer and never become one. There is no paid tier for parents, no charge per pickup, and no feature behind a payment — including the digital car tag, delegate approvals and notifications. A school that pays for AuthExit has paid for every parent at that school.
Every tier includes everything
There are no paid add-ons and no per-feature pricing. The tier is decided by the size and cadence of the school, and then the whole system is switched on:
- Car line, dismissal queue and named pickup lanes
- The digital car tag on every parent’s phone
- Classroom attendance, and staff attendance by badge scan
- Library catalog, circulation, holds and reading log
- Student QR ID cards, generated for the whole school at once
- Delegate and early-pickup approvals
- Reporting, exports and live dismissal telemetry
You can switch a module off — the library and the optional location check are enabled per school, and when one is off nothing about it appears anywhere in the app. That is a configuration choice, not a pricing one: turning it off does not reduce the invoice.
There is no setup fee. Send your student list as a spreadsheet and we load it for you.
Scanners are optional, and not from us
No hardware is required and none is included in the price. AuthExit runs on the phones, tablets and computers a school already has, and every scan works through the device’s own camera — at the door, and at the library desk. QR codes and older one-dimensional barcodes both read, so an existing book collection does not need relabelling.
There is always a way through without scanning at all: staff can type a student ID or a book number by hand, and the parent’s digital car tag is read by eye. A dead camera never stops a dismissal.
A dedicated USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner is worth buying if one desk handles real volume — a library checking out a class at a time, or a single door handling several hundred arrivals. It is faster than a camera at that pace and it frees a hand. Buy it yourself, from anywhere — they are ordinary keyboard-wedge scanners, we do not resell them and we do not mark them up.
Common questions
- How much does AuthExit cost?
- One flat fee a year for the whole school: $300 for a community school meeting one day a week, up to 500 students; $650 for a daily school up to 500, and $950 for a daily school of 500 to 1,200. Above those sizes, or across several campuses, we quote. Every module is included in every tier.
- Do parents pay anything?
- No. The parent app is free and always will be. There is no paid tier for families, no per-pickup charge, and no feature a parent has to pay to unlock.
- Is it priced per student?
- No. It is one annual figure for the school, billed once a year — not per student, not per pickup, not per family. A school that grows mid-year does not get a larger invoice mid-year.
- What happens when we grow into the next tier?
- Nothing changes until renewal. Adding students never triggers a charge mid-year and never switches anything off — we simply price the next year at the tier you are then in.
- Do we have to take every module?
- You can switch off what you do not want, but it does not change the price — there are no paid add-ons and no per-feature pricing. Dismissal is the core; the library and the optional location check on pickup requests are enabled per school, and when one is off nothing about it appears anywhere in the app.
- Why is it cheaper than buying dismissal and library separately?
- Because it is one system rather than two. Dismissal software alone is typically $300 to $1,000 a year and small-school library software is a further $500 to $950, so the two bought apart start around $900. AuthExit covers both, plus classroom and staff attendance, ID cards and the digital car tag, for one figure.
- Do we need to buy scanners?
- No. Scanning works through the camera on the phones, tablets and computers you already have, at the door and at the library desk, and staff can always type an ID by hand instead. A dedicated USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner is faster where one desk handles real volume, so we recommend one for a busy library or a single high-traffic door — but it is optional, it is not included in the subscription, and you buy it yourself from any supplier.
- We are one organization with schools in several locations. How does that work?
- One invoice for the whole group: a $250 base, then half the normal rate for each campus. Two campuses meeting one day a week is $550 a year; five is $1,000.
